The Deluxe Town Diner.
This place is amazing. It also holds a special place in my heart because following the Marathon bombing and the day long “shelter in place” situation on April 19th, the diner was a place where everyone in my town sought comfort and solace. It was, to use a term from Lost, our constant. No matter how awful our world got that week, there was a warm, safe place for us to go and heal as a community.
My husband and I plan to move to another Boston ‘burb in the next year, and we both know that no matter how good the food is wherever we may go–there is, and always will be, only one “diner.”
